Polls: No room for ethnicity, Obasanjo tells Nigerians

 

Cape Town – Former president Olusegun Obasanjo
says the upcoming elections are crucial and should be
devoid of sentiments like religion, ethnicity and
nepotism.
According to Today Internet Newspaper, Obasanjo said
the country was being watched by the international
community, adding that it would be subjected to
ridicule and jest from global observers if the elections
failed.
Obasanjo said all eyes would be on INEC and the
police, and urged them to ensure free, fair and credible
elections.
